Flora 1761 is a sophisticated nail lacquer collection- produced in the US- inspired by the historic elegance of flowers and botanicals. Being 8-free, vegan, and cruelty-free, we provide an eco-conscious yet elegant alternative to mainstream nail care brands.
Founder Christine Koehler was inspired to create Flora 1761 while living in London and exploring Europe. Christine was continually fascinated by the influence that flowers have had in so many aspects of daily life throughout history, most especially historic homes, pleasure gardens, and fine art.
Flora 1761 was designed to be visually beautiful and worthy of placement on one’s vanity with prized perfume bottles, thus its uniquely elegant look. Additionally, each bottle is presented in a luxe, gold foil-detailed box, creating the perfect gift, if even just for oneself. Additionally, as a woman-owned independent beauty brand, empowering other women is an important part of our ethos and so a portion of all proceeds go to respected women’s charities, such as Dress for Success and Girls Inc.
Above all, we are most proud of our formula—it offers smooth coverage and a long-lasting finish with lustrous shine, especially when paired with our Essentials. There is no compromise in efficacy with safer ingredients and our polish will last up to 10 days without chipping.
Flora 1761 has been featured in ELLE, Southern Living, Vogue.com, Byrdie, and more, as well as on the runway at New York Fashion Week.
