We're Mark and Lizzy and when we had our first daughter, Frances, we were overwhelmed to say the least. Exhausted and sleep-deprived, we had a hard time adjusting to our new life as parents. There were so many important things to figure out from sleep schedules to food allergies and everything in between. We quickly realized that it wasn't easy to figure out what to do all day, but like many new parents, we were in survival mode. "Sleep when the baby sleeps" they say. Not, "Spend time researching developmental activities while they sleep!" We knew there had to be a way to help out other parents going through the same thing. And we were determined to make it easier on ourselves for the second time around. This is how Curious Baby activity cards were born. We poured through the research, assembled a medical advisory team and created a set of creative activities that you can do with your baby during each developmental stage of their entire first year. To make them as accessible to all parents, we made sure that the activities didn't require any extra materials, hours or preparation, or expensive trips to the craft store.
