Each piece of Shepherd's Run Jewelry is made from scratch by jeweler Rebecca S. Scott, in her Somerville, MA studio. Using only responsibly sourced precious metals, semi precious stones and age-old techniques, every piece is designed and made by hand to be worn often and loved for a long time. Rebecca's work is modern, minimal and timeless in its appeal. Rebecca works in argentium and sterling silver and 14k gold fill, with a mixture of semi-precious and precious stones and pearls sprinkled throughout her wholesale collection. What is argentium? Argentium silver is of a higher quality than sterling silver- it has a higher percentage of fine silver in the alloy, is more tarnish resistant and has superior working qualities. Argentium is also certified to only be produced using recycled silver, which is much better for our environment.
