Kitchen Witch Ornament - Ceramic Strega Cucina for Good Luck in the Kitchen

Inspired by the tradition of Scandinavian kitchen witches, I have created an Italian version - the Strega Cucina. Hung in the kitchen, these good luck charms are to help prevent kitchen mishaps like burning vegetables and pots boiling over, and are often gifted to friends as a kitchen blessing and introduction to the tradition.

The apron-clad witch is surrounded by important Italian herbs including oregano, artemisia (mugwort), garlic, rue, and rosemary, and measures 5" in diameter.

Ornament is hung from black and tan jute, or green and tan jute.

Chose from the following three colors over an off-white clay body.
Black, Off-White, Green.
