The magic ingredient in this tonic of youth is olive squalane. Squalene is a polyunsaturated liquid naturally found in many plants & animals, including us! About 12% of our skin surface is made of squalene at birth, but in our mid-to-late twenties, its production begins to rapidly decline. This natural lipid lubricates & protects skin. This is why topical application is critical as we age. Squalane is a derivative of squalene and is much lighter & thus better for all skin types (especially ones prone to breakouts).
Other properties of squalane include it being an antioxidant, aiding in reduction of fine lines & wrinkles, moisturizing, reversing UV damage, lightening any discoloration, and fighting free radicals.
Comes in a 1 or 2 oz frosted amber glass bottle w/ black treatment pump.
The generous 2 oz size can last up to 5-6 months if used daily.
