The Butterfly Hug is a soothing self-therapy developed in the late 90s by Lucina Artigas during her work with the survivors of Hurricane Pauline in Acapulco, Mexico. This gorgeous mural centers around a black and white rendering of a woman using the technique; her hug explodes into bursts of color, while her gaze remains steady and strong.

Artist: Dina Saadi
Born in Russia, raised in Syria, and currently based in Dubai, artist and muralist Dina Saadi uses art to speak her mind, to express her emotions and to showcase her ideas.  Her art depicts the diversity of urban spaces, the characteristics of modern life, the allure of wildlife, the beauty of plants and the mystery of natural elements. Saadi has participated in a number of street art festivals and global projects; has painted on walls in the Middle East, Europe, USA, Asia, and Africa; and has worked with multinational brands including Apple, Instagram, Uber, Audi, and Nike. Her mission in life is simple; use the street as a canvas and add colors to lives while inspiring social change and transformation.

Lost Walls Project

Minimum $99
Chicago, IL
What happens to street art after it's been painted over? This single question led us to create an archival project to rebirth these lost works of art and bring them into peoples hands, homes and hearts. We're female founded and license photographs of murals direct from the artists of which 50% are female. This is intentional, diversity matters. We donate a portion of each sale to Play Together in order to advance their work in providing art scholarships to BIPOC art students and funding new community mural arts projects. Our featured artists and exclusive murals are located all over the world in Los Angeles, France, London, India, and Chicago so far.
