The Templar Cross Ring

Inspired by the Templar Knights and the Templar Cross, this ring has a regal and ancient feeling. The Templars are legends in many tales but did you know they actually invented International banking? They kept posts at most holy pilgrimage sights. They decided to help travelers with being robbed by bandits on the road they would take a deposit at one location, issue a note of credit and then let the traveler cash it in at another location when they had arrived safely. Because of this they became very wealthy and in time aroused the jealousy of the Pope and held a large amount of debt from the King of France. Not a good combo. The Pope and the King decided to turn on the nights and accuse them falsely of heresy. On Friday the 13th in the dead of night the Templars were all arrested and eventually tortured and killed. This is why Friday the 13th has lived on with it's bad reputation.

We like to layer this ring with the templar stacking rings to add some color. Sterling silver plated in 14K gold with cubic zirconia stones.
