All the artwork on our greeting cards are original oil paintings by Betsie Richardson. Those quirky captions? They come from Betsie, too. Betsie works in a studio in Garden City, Idaho, where she wrestles with sumo citrus fruit until they look like a sumo wrestler still life, leans shiitake mushrooms head-to-head until they're shii-talking, mixes copious amounts of oil paint, and dreams up joyful, uplifting and sometimes naughty messages to send to her favorite people in the form of greeting cards.
