Ethics and honesty have always been a part of my mission statement. Mother Nature has always been my inspiration, with a fond love of alchemy and knowledge, and marrying those two together. From choosing the right ingredients, being transparent with my products and labeling, and being thoughtful with my carbon footprint and where/who I source from. When it comes to your skin, integrity and ethics will never be compromised. All products are handcrafted in small batches using quality, safe, and researched ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible, and working with trusted, reputable suppliers. Nearly all of our raw ingredients are USDA-certified organic or Ecocert approved. No parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, or harsh/harmful chemicals, and absolutely no animal testing. Plainville Homestead is a strong advocate for transparency, which is why you will always find a detailed ingredients list with all of our products. Your skin is the largest organ on your body. Know what you put on it! Thoughtfully sourced. Inspired by nature. Backed by science. As a one woman operation, lead time is 3-4 weeks. Due to cure time, cold processed soaps require a 4-week minimum turnaround time, if not in stock.
