Sheets & Giggles™

Minimum $1,000 - Denver, CO

Featured on Good Morning America, CBS, and CNN, Sheets & Giggles™ is famous for its softer-than-cotton, temperature-regulating, sustainable Eucalyptus Lyocell bedding. S&G's Eucalyptus Lyocell is considered one of the most sustainable fabrics in the world. It’s made via a closed-loop system with no harmful chemicals and effectively zero runoff, and it uses up to 96% less water than cotton and 30% less energy. In further contrast to cotton, we use no insecticides. (Unfortunately, cotton uses harmful neonicotinoids that are killing off bee and bird populations.) Unlike polyester, our fabric isn’t petroleum-based, and sheds no microplastics, and biodegrades without a trace. While microfiber polyester may only cost a few bucks to manufacture because it’s made from petrochemicals (i.e., oil), it comes at a terrible price. A single microfiber sheet set can shed 10 million microplastic fibers into our waterways with each and every wash. If everyone who bought S&G’s sustainable eucalyptus lyocell sheets in 2020 had bought microfiber sheets instead, that means about three trillion new microplastic fibers would have been leeched into our waterways in just the past year. And unlike earlier methods of cellulosic rayon like bamboo viscose, we use no harmful carbon sulfide (and use less water, too!). S&G also plants a tree for every order – planting tens of thousands trees in the US already – and regularly donates to causes that their community cares about, like the $40,000 in cash and tens of thousands of dollars in bedding that S&G recently contributed to COVID–19 relief in Colorado.
